Defence Equipment
The Supervisor - Land Training Fleet role is based within our Defence Equipment business area.


Defence equipment stores, maintains, repairs and overhauls military vehicles and equipment so the UK army is able to train and deploy in a moment.

As well as supporting vehicles that are already in service, the team carries out vehicle assembly integration and tests new vehicles.

As a Supervisor - Land Training Fleet, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll provide first line management capability for our operational organisation.


Day to day, you'll lead recruitment activities for roles in team, ATR submissions, conducting interviewing, ordering equipment/assets and completing new starter / induction processes along with exit activities for team members conducting exit interviews, equipment/asset collection/return and completing leaver processes.


You'll conduct line manager activities in grievance and disciplinary procedures in line with policy, conducting investigations, lead hearings, first level outcome/decision maker, manage employee welfare providing information and support, hearing and addressing concerns and escalating where appropriate and manage performance of team members in line with policies conducting informal reviews, objective setting, PDR processes, recognition of good performance / leading poor performance procedures.

Essential experience
