Production Planner/Materials Planner

Commutable Evesham, Alcester, Worcester and Tewksbury and Redditch

£30-32,000 plus excellent benefits

An excellent opportunity to join a market leading manufacturer in this new role.

They are seeking an individual to create and control production schedules for a selected group of products and to ensure stock is available to meet the forecast.

Responsibilities

Working from the master schedule, outstanding sales and current stock levels plan the production required for fulfil
Maintain a 2week fixed plan for the inhouse production team outlining personnel resource allocation taking into consideration holidays/sickness.
Communicate production plans to internal production team and/or subcontractors working with each to resolve overcome any issues.
Brief suppliers on each job, requesting quotes and liaising to ensure accurate and time suitable deliveries.
Arrange for delivery of all materials required to suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring accurate stock control is maintained.

Person Specification

Excellent organisational skills
Strong production and materials background together with inventory management skills
IT literate, able to use Excel and excellent knowledge of ERP systems
