Redcar
Full Time, Fixed Term Apprenticeship
£17,680 per annum


Here at Serco we are seeking an apprentice to assist with the provision of business support to both our internal Fleet Team and wider customer base.

The position includes a Level 3 Business Administration NVQ Diploma, which will give you the opportunity to learn, use and develop a wide range of administration and organisational skills.

Through on the job learning you will develop experience in various software and portals, including Microsoft Office, a Fleet Management Database and many online systems, which are necessary to carry out our daily duties.


Some of the duties you will undertake will include:
Accurate maintenance of the vehicle and driver data in the Fleet Management System.
Data entry into various databases, including penalty charge notice entry into the Fleet Management System.
Running reporting for customers, including creation of exports and imports into the Fleet Management System.
Processing driver declarations and conducting driving licence checking.
Ordering and issuing of Fuel Cards, including administration aspects.
Processing vehicle amendments on the Motor Insurance Database.
Administration of owned vehicle documentation, including V5 and plating.
Administration of Operator Licence vehicles, including the use of the Traffic Commissioner site, and providing reporting for audit preparation.
Interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
Developing ways to improve our working methods and processes to ensure we always provide the best service possible.
