Landscape Maintenance, Team Leader

Salary £24,000 to £29,000

You will have experience in Grounds Maintenance and Lead a small Team in this industry leading Landscaping Company. You will use your knowledge and experience to maintain your allotted sites to the highest standard.

You will be working for one of the country's most successful Landscape companies, part of a large and diverse international group.


The Job:


As a Landscape Maintenance Team Leader, you will be based at the company's yard in South Essex and will be working alongside, and supervising Operatives on site.

You will be responsible for ensuring that The Sales and Marketing areas associated with new build housing developments, together with your other sites are maintained to the highest standards.

You will have a reasonable knowledge of gardening practices and regular duties will centre on grass care, hedging, pruning, weeding, litter collection, spraying and some planting and plant care.


You will often be "the face of the company" with both clients and property owners and should therefore have a pleasant, friendly manner and good communication skills.


You will ensure that you and your team have the correct uniform and PPE, that that all vehicles and machinery are in good order and safe to operate.

You will accurately record the work of your team, communicating any issues or problems with the line manager. You will be responsible for the notification of any H&S issues, Observations or Accidents in line with company procedures


The Person:


Ideally you will have at least a year of previous experience in Landscaping and a broad range of Landscaping skills.


  • A full driving licence (essential)
  • CSCS Card (preferred)

Job Types:

Salary:
£24,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
