Details:
- Temporary (412 weeks)
- Colchester
- Full time (8:304:30pm) but can be flexible
- Hybrid working (at least twice a week in the office)
- Free parking
- Team of 5
Duties/responsibilities:
Retail
- To monitor and ensure all information is received from retail outlets within agreed timetable.
- Analyse record and check shops till and ecommerce activity
- Perform internal control checks including checking all receipts tally to bank deposits
- To Input all appropriate accounting entries using the spreadsheets/standard accounting software packages, on a daily/weekly basis.
- Liaise with shops to obtain missing scans of receipts
- Process bank receipts relating to the retail bank account
- Reconciliation of bank statement to accounts package and third party report
- Highlight any problem areas and bring to the attention of Management Accountant.
- To Input all appropriate accounting entries using the spread sheets/standard accounting software packages, on a daily/weekly basis.
- Process card and cash receipts received into the bank
- To assist colleagues and external parties by providing financial information as appropriate.
- General office duties including filing, scanning archiving and photocopying.
- To provide cover in times of leave and sickness for the other finance assistance job areas
- To undertake other duties as may be required.
