Permanent Hybrid
Part Time 21 hrs per week
Working Pattern 3 days between Monday -Friday
Salary-£32,304-£37,684 Pro Rata
Location -Irvine

You will be Responsible in controlling the day-to-day delivery of repairs and maintenance programmes and services in accordance with contractual requirements.

Assisting to deliver programmes which ensure achievement of Scottish Housing Quality, Energy Efficiency and Compliance standards.


You will respond flexibly to any necessary changes in work priorities and undertake other duties when required to support the effective operation of the service.

Ensuring good customer relations are developed by such means as effective consultation with customers, and ensure service standards for customer communications are defined and met

**So, who are you?
Essentially you will have experience of delivering Asset management functions within a social housing environment.

As well as being customer focused with excellent communication skills and a desire to improve customer satisfaction.


Have excellent knowledge of Asset Management Information and Communications technology (ICT) systems including Housing Management systems, e.g Academy, Open Housing.


Although not Essential it is desirable to have experience of successfully undertaking a similar role in the delivery of asset services ensuring compliance with legislative, regulatory or governance requirements.

Job Purpose
To deliver high-quality responsive repairs\voids & capital works and services on behalf of Riverside Scotland

**Accountabilities or "What You Have to Do"

  • Control the daytoday delivery of repairs and maintenance programmes and services in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Carry out pre and post inspections of works instructed to Contractors, in accordance with performance targets, ensuring adequate recording of works instructed, authorised variations and the quality of the completed work, monitoring the performance of Contractors and taking the appropriate action where necessary.
  • Assist to deliver programmes which ensure achievement of Scottish Housing Quality, Energy Efficiency and Compliance standards.
  • Contribute effectively to the planning process for future Capital investment and Compliance works to maximise best value and maintain and achieve regulatory and legislative standards.
  • Provide effective input identifying high expenditure factors to inform future works programmes, and the annual budget submission.
  • Provide effective input into ensuring compliance with contractual and tendering procedures and good practice, and as set out in the Association's Policies, Standing Orders and Financial Regulations.
  • Ensure good customer relations are developed by such means as effective consultation with customers, and ensure service standards for customer communications are defined and met.
  • Carry out such other duties as are allocated by the Asset Services Manager or their delegated representative.
  • Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders effectively, building constructive working relationships to effectively deliver the Association's objectives.
  • Ensure internal business processes are followed in line with the Association's policy, procedures and statutory requirements.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
  • Respond flexibly to any necessary changes in work priorities and undertake other duties when required to support the effective operation of the service.
  • Ensure that all data protection requirements are met in accordance with the Riverside Group's policy, procedures and statutory requirements.
  • Working on a rotational basis, deliver an out of hours standby service, supported by Customer Contact Centre.
