Description

We are looking for a Head of Data Ownership to establish Data Ownership across the board and to help deploy a Data Governance framework to enhance availability and the quality of data across the business.


Working within a globally recognised organisation, you'll play a vital part in this Master Data Management transformation via the adoption of new policies, practices, and processes, using the best-in-class tools.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop plans and drive implementation of the data governance processes
  • You will directly contribute to the success of the organisations strategic projects to ensure these have the correct data capabilities available at the right time in a complaint manner.
  • You will be coaching, guiding, and mentoring Data Champions across the wider business, taking corrective measures when necessary.
  • Working with Data Champions so that they can manage their own Data Flows, Data Models etc.
  • Increase the awareness and education of Data Governance best practices across a wide spectrum of internal stakeholders.
  • Present findings across governance forums for key decisions related to Data Governance.
  • Instrumental in identifying future opportunities to enhance the businesses understanding of the data landscape.


We are looking for someone who has a strong background in Data Ownership and / or stewardship who is looking for that next step up in their career.

This is a collaborative, people driven organisiaton who are passionate about change & transformation.


If you have proven experience driving success within Data Governance, a strong understanding and experience within Master Data Management, and are passionate about improving data quality & influencing a data culture.

Must be within commutable distance of London for a hybrid working approach.
