Summary of the Senior Design Manager:

I am currently recruiting for a Senior Design Manager to work for a Tier 1 company based in Peterborough to support with tenders on design, evaluating bids, scoping design work and responding to tender questions.

Reporting into the Head of Design, the Senior Design Manager will be responsible for design management and tendering.

**Responsibilities of the Senior Design Manager: - You will be responsible for the provision of designs, technical advice and guidance on one or more of our projects.

As a key member of the team you will ensure engineering excellence is achieved throughout the life cycle of the project, from pre contract tender input through design and implementation phases through to handover to the client.
You will also manage yourself effectively to deliver against agreed plans and budgets.
Supporting tenders on design, evaluating bids, scoping design work and responding to tender questions.

**Requirements of the Senior Design Manager: - Degree educated or equivalent experience

Minimum of 10 years' experience within similar positions
Significant Civils design management experience
Experience of supporting bids
You will possess a 'cando' attitude, excellent organisational ability and have working knowledge of Railway interfaces and practices
