Busy Bee Recruitment are working alongside an amazing social care client and are seeking enthusiastic and caring Youth Support Worker's to come and join their dedicated and friendly team supporting young people between the ages of 8-16 years based in a cosyresidential setting in Wisbech.


Our client is a well-established company offering a specialist residential childrens home attached to a school for boys who have social, emotional and bavhioural needs.

They have serviced Cambridgeshire and other local authorities for the past thirty-fiveyears and are now recruiting for some more amazing Individuals to join their growing team.


As a Youth Support Worker, you are required to work 40 hours per week + 1 sleep in per week.

Shift times and patterns will vary, you will be required to work a mixture of long days, earlies and late shifts including weekends.


What will you be doing?

  • You will deliver high quality support and care tailored to young people's needs whilst promoting their dignity and individuality.
  • You will provide comfort and companion ship to those in your care.
  • You will encourage young people to get involved in fun social activities.
  • You will promote young people's independence.
  • You will undertake observations on those in your care and will document this as necessary in their care plans.
  • You will attend appointments, social visits, and days out with those in your care.

Essential:


  • Right to work in the UK.
  • You must be over the age of 21 to apply.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to work alternate weekends.
  • Excellent communication skills and relationship building skills.
  • Satisfactory references.
