We have an excellent opportunity to join Virgin Media O2 as Finance Business Partner for Network Expansion for 12 months.


The Finance team acts as an integral part of the Network Expansion (Project Lightning) division in optimising performance and supporting the division in achieving its short and long term objectives.


This role has key interfaces with the Network Expansion Organisation, business partnering with the relevant build director for allocated build responsibilities, alongside the relevant commercial and PMO teams.


It is a key role within the Lightning finance team, providing regular analysis on assigned builds to the Head of Finance and the Lightning Senior Management team.


At the heart of this role is driving performance and ensuring they are within the approved budgets, by providing challenges to build approvals and working as a virtual member of the build team.

Who we are

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Qualified Accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • An ability to influence and build relationships across divisions at different levels.
  • A track record of management of challenging and changing deadlines and quick turnarounds of information but maintaining attention to detail.
  • Evidence a background of presenting information to different departments.

  • Absolutely trustworthy with high standards of personal integrity and empathy.
  • Previous telecommunication or construction experience would be advantageous.
