HR Operations Manager - Benefits

Northampton

Hours - 40 Monday - Friday, Hybrid working available

Salary Up to £50,000 dependent upon experience.


We are seeking a HR Operations Manager within Reward and Benefits; you will be responsible for the day to day servicing and delivery of the internal Reward and Benefits processes.

Alongside engaging with key stakeholders within the Rewards & Performancecentres of excellence, external suppliers, and colleagues within the Benefits employee helpdesk.


Duties:


  • Develop, manage and maintain Benefits operational procedures and practices.
  • Ensure that Benefit operational servicing and processing meets the needs of the customer and the business through stakeholder reviews and account management of vendors as required.
  • Responsible for the provision of Tier 2 query and complaint handling for all queries relating to Benefits.
  • Responsible for prompt root cause analysis of issues and the planning and ontime delivery of rectification activities as required.
  • Responsible for monitoring the continued effective use of all Benefit related aspects of systems used, including the oversight and/or management of regular and annual data files / interfaces.
  • To liaise with the Reward Transaction Cycle to define and administer the My Rewards annual benefits timetable incorporating legislative, system, operational and business changes, communications to customers or updating webtext and testing.
  • Coordinate, manage and report all Benefit risks in line with HR guidelines including compliance with legislation.
  • Embed Benefit operational change as a result of changes to benefits policy or legislative change.
  • Managing all project risks and issues, ensuring robust plans are in place and executed to time/quality.
  • Analyse and report on Benefit related MI and any business opportunities or themes supported by the data.
  • Driving process consistency.
  • Lead the Benefits team team of on a day to basis ensuring performance levels are maintained and improved as required; team goals are set at an appropriate level; development and career opportunities are supported; and the team coached on the necessaryaspects of their roles.
  • Drive excellent performance within the Benefits function and be an ambassador of excellence within the service provision.
  • Help identify service improvement opportunities and new operational services and engage. stakeholders and team members in the need for change as required.
  • Lead on specific benefit related projects as required.
  • Responsible for the provision of progress updates to Line Management and Stakeholders, identifying and reporting areas of Risk and escalating issues in a timely manner.
  • Agreeing the technical and quality strategy for all Benefit projects with stakeholders.
  • Establishing day to day relationships with peers within HR business and customer to manage the smooth transition of the project from inception through to live, supporting the project in the realisation of anticipated benefits.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities/projects, ensuring consistent delivery to a high standard.
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and build commitment amongst senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates resilience reacts positively to changes and maintains poise, focus and flexibility when encountering difficulties or obstacles.
  • Possesses a demonstrable ability to effectively engage with stakeholders, whilst being able to clearly communicate requirements and liaise with peers who are required to support the delivery.
  • Degree qualified or with equivalent professional qualifications or demonstrable experience in lieu of this
  • Domain experience within Benefits
  • Excellent people management skills in relation to performance, motivation, development and delivery
  • Customer Service experience ability to deal with a varied customer base, including business customers & senior stakeholders, and explain complex queries clearly.
  • Experience of governance, controls and risk management
  • Preferably degree qualified in a numerate or HRrelated discipline
  • Experience of working within a HR operational and service delivery environment
  • Generalist HR experience within complex organisation.
