Taylor Stevenson are proud to be working with a family owned takeaway/café based in Wath Upon Dearne.

This is a great opportunity to join a great business that is busy and has an upbeat atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

Assist with food preparation, including roasting a large amount of fresh joints, slicing meat, preparing food to the exact specifications.
Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistent quality of meals
Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper storage and handling of ingredients
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation during meal service
Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying the supervisor of any shortages or discrepancies

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation and cooking is a must
Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
Ability to work at a fast pace and multitask
Strong work ethic & sense of urgency
Ability to work both independently & as part of a team
Strong communication skills (written & verbal) & ability to practice them daily
Must have all up to date certificates
Ensure all health and safety, environmental health, HACCP and any other regulations are adhered to.

Working on a rota with working hours 7.30pm-2.30pm or pm.

You will get one weekend off a month but are required to have weekend availability.

Salary-£12-£13 dependant on experience.
