Job summary
We are recruiting for a Band 7 Cognitive Behavioural Therapist at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust (Centenary House)

Main duties of the job
As a cognitive behavioural therapist/ practitioner, you'll evaluate a patient's issue using direct observation, interviews, and methods such as psychometric testing.
In order to improve quality of life, you will plan and implement treatments in collaboration with service users. Typically, this happens over the course of several individual, couple, family, or group sessions. Along with providing therapy, you'll teach other supervisory staff, conduct research, and manage teams of clinicians.

Job responsibilities
Provide high quality specialist Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to individuals and groups within a wide range of settings.
Provide screening of clients to ascertain the suitability of the service and ability to offer appropriate therapy
Manage an allocated clinical caseload in collaboration with your Line Manager.
Deliver evidence based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for clients with mild to severe mental health problems.
Conduct problem focused assessment and work focused assessment of clients
Provide Clinical Supervision, as required, in relation to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to IAPT trainees and qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapists.
Person Specification
Qualifications
To have a professional qualification (BABCP registration, valid and in date)
- To have the suitable experience in a mental health setting (children)
- To be able to have excellent time management, organisation skills and maintain professionalism.
- Accredited postgraduate course in cognitive behavioural therapy.

Part-time hours: 37.5 per week

£18.19 per hour
