  • West Yorkshire Police Digital Forensic Unit are recruiting two Assessment Officers who will carry out an evaluation and authorisation service for volume and serious crime forensic requests, submitted by West Yorkshire Police Officers and Staff.
  • You will ensure compliance with all regulatory, quality and legislative requirements (including but not limited to, PCSC Act 2022, DPA, PACE; develop forensic submission strategies involving sequential analyses that ensure the most effective use of resources.
  • Knowledge of digital or other forensics is desirable but is not essential. Management of investigations or confident decisionmaking abilities are skills which would benefit the holders of these posts.
  • These posts are suitable for job share.
  • One of the two positions are for Weekend cover that currently works Saturday to Wednesday and attracts a shift enhancement of 20%, as applicable. The working pattern can be discussed on appointment.
