Our client is a leading travel group providing educational tours and experiences.
THE ROLE
Our client is looking for an Events Co-ordinator to join their team.
Events Co-ordinator key responsibilities:
- Coordinate sports events and education seminars for school students.
- Liase with customers to discuss and confirm their booking.
- Ensure accurate booking costings and adherence to budgets and payment timelines.
- Confirm travel, accommodation, event partners, and venues with suppliers and colleagues.
- Collaborate on detailed event plans for multiple groups and venues.
- Coordinate logistics for simultaneous travel of multiple groups.
- Cultivate strong, longterm relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Play a key role in onground event delivery, including regular travel and facetoface interaction.
- Maintain and enhance customer documentation.
- Demonstrate understanding and compliance with internal Safety Management System and Health & Safety Rules.
- Develop understanding of associate memberships to benefit clients and the company.
- Contribute to identifying and implementing improvements in work organisation and procedures.
THE PERSON
Events Co-ordinator skills and experience:
- Previous experience within a customer service role.
- Previous experience delivering events and group travel itineraries.
- Experience and knowledge group tour operating in the School Travel Market.
- Proven knowledge and experience scheduling sports tournaments.
- French language skills is desirable.
- Proven ability to resolve problems and meet strict deadlines.
- Attention to detail when following procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
