Description

Doing Amazing Things Together We're all about possibilities. Are you?**Are you a warm and cheerful person who loves to get out into the community?

Do you have patience and empathy?

Become a Support Worker.
What matters to the people we support matters to us. It's their life, their way.

We are looking for a positive, thoughtful person to join our team in Huntingdon.

We support 2 men who are outgoing and enjoy their time at the gym, college and day trips out to the zoo, cinema and Harry Potter World.

You will be working in people's homes, so it's important you can connect, share interests and be interested.

You should be available to work a variety of shifts across the week, including some 7 hour shifts or long days, mid-shifts and alternate weekends.

An essential part of this role is being a driver with a full UK Licence and having access to your own car, as you will be required at times to travel between Huntingdon and another location in Papworth Everard.

So, if you enjoy building meaningful relationships and think you could plan, communicate and deliver support with and alongside people, then this is the place for you.

Why Join Us? What will we do?**We provide a package of benefits that make it that bit easier to be your best and we can also support you to achieve a Level 2 diploma in Health and Social Care and pursue a career that takes on more responsibility.

Supporting people is really important but it's not all walks and wildlife.

We also support people to take medication, assist with personal care, make healthy lifestyle choices and maintain their home in a way that they feel safe, well and happy.

It sounds exciting to say no two days will be the same, but in support, sometimes they are. Sometimes people like routine and struggle with changeBut when you support someone to try something new - what a feeling

We're committed to being Disability Confident and we guarantee to interview all applicants with a disability who meet the minimum criteria for the vacancy.
