Cambridgeshire County Council is embarking on a new phase of service delivery after a period of joint working with Peterborough City Council and this brings some exciting opportunities to work in Childrens Commissioning.

We have a new Executive Director for Adults, Health and Commissioning, and we are focusing services to the citizens of Cambridgeshire with bold ambitions to achieve excellent standards.

What will you be doing?

This role works closely with the Children's Commissioning and Access to Resources Team (ART), providing all administrative activities to support our service as we develop systems, processes and provisions to meet the needs of children, young people and families across Cambridgeshire.

About you

  • Be an excellent communicator both spoken and written.
  • Be experienced with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Be able to work within processes/procedures.
  • Have experience in calendar management, setting up meetings and taking minutes.
  • Work effectively with colleagues as part of a team.
  • Have a willingness to learn and progress with a cando attitude.
