MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform diary management functions for OH team including arranging and rearranging appointments, meetings, and room bookings.
  • Helping to develop and maintain efficient administrative systems and processes which support the delivery of Occupational Health/HR.
  • Input, update and audit of records on multiple systems, extracting basic information within set parameters and producing required reports.
  • Providing front line support to managers and employees as part of a HR team.
  • Undertake tasks as required which may be of a sensitive and confidential nature.
  • To support with the collection and interpretation of data and statistics
  • Set up, administer, and support events and activities organised and facilitated by the team
  • To be an effective and flexible team member to ensure that requirements are met

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that you work in line with all the employer's policies and procedures and ensure that you are aware of your obligations under these.

  • To comply with health and safety policies, organisational statements and procedures, report any incidents / accidents/ hazards and take a proactive approach to health and safety matters in order to protect yourself and others.
  • Any other duties of a similar nature related to this post that may be required from timetotime.


This post is deemed to be a 'Customer Facing' role in line with the definition of the Code of Practice on the English language requirement for public sector workers.


Qualifications & Education

  • GCSE's Grade A to C including Maths and English (awarded pre 2017), GCSE's Grade 9 to 4 including Maths and English (awarded 2017 onwards) or Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths

Experience & Knowledge

  • Approx.
1 years' experience of working in an administration / office / HR / financial related role

  • An understanding of office systems and procedures

  • Understanding of computer systems and competency in Office Applications e

  • Experience of dealing with enquiries from a range of people

  • An understanding of the principles of the Data Protection Act
