Agile Delivery Manager - Scrum Software Part Remote, Birmingham
One of Birmingham's best kept secrets is growing their team for 2023 and looking for an Agile Delivery Manager (Scrum Master)
The Agile Delivery Manager is responsible for making sure that services are being seamlessly delivered to clients.

The Agile Delivery Manager oversees a variety of tasks, such as leading project teams, rectifying reliability issues, monitoring progress, trackingKPIs, and managing budgets.


Backlog Management:
Responsible for the management of the development team backlog, working with Project Managers to set the teams priorities.

Ensure that items on the backlog are clear and visible to all Stakeholders; Ensure that the Development Team understand the backlog items;Ensures that the Backlog is maintained and is up to date.


Communication:


Ensure that all Stakeholders are aware of the Backlog, including release content; Responsible for the communication of the scope of features.

Organisation.

Build a strong relationship with the development team, and technology organisation helping to plan sprints and continuously improve the way the team works - encouraging them to inspect, adapt and embrace learnings; Work closely with Operations teams to ensurethat security is applied consistently and complies to policies where necessary.

The ideal person

  • Bachelor's degree, IT or business related
  • At least 7 years of experience within an Agile and/or Product Environment.
  • Demonstrable agile Delivery Manager experience gained within an agile team
  • Good skills and knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
  • Knowledge of various aspects of the Scrum approach. E.g. Burndown/Burnup, Retrospectives, Epics/Stories/tasks, Story Points, Bugs management etc.
  • Strong JIRA and Confluence knowledge
  • Solid planning skills and the ability to always look ahead, highlight issues and risks, providing solutions and meeting deadlines
  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of software development with experience leading a selfsupporting developer team
