About Our Client:

The key responsibilities include:

To support the management of health and safety policy and procedures and the provision of information and supporting training for technical/academic staff and students.
To support the management of health and safety processes for specialist clinical simulation teaching facilities in Healthcare Education in the School of Life and Health Sciences.
To provide advice and guidance to staff and students on matters concerning work related health, safety and welfare.
To identify and support completion of comprehensive risk assessments and standard operating procedures across teaching areas, specialist equipment and tasks and to assist staff to contribute to risk assessments relevant to their role.

The Successful Applicant:

Person specification:

Experience in a relevant Health and Safety role.
Ability to compete a range of H&S processes such as risk assessments, standard operating procedures and action plans.
Previous position with responsibility for providing support with health and safety legislation compliance.
Communicating policy and procedures and influencing the way that people think and behave.
Experience working in a clinical and/or academic environment.
