To be successful in the role it is essential that you have excellent communication skills with experience of managing the University's communications internally and externally/locally and nationally and drafting speeches and reports on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor.

You must have a sound knowledge of UK Higher Education sector issues to undertake appropriate research and contribute on matters of policy for the University, as well as excellent IT and numeracy skills to interpret data accurately to make recommendations to the Vice-Chancellor and senior management team.

You must also be able to work effectively with people at all levels of the organisation to lead University wide projects, prioritising your workload to achieve key priorities and deadlines amongst competing demands.

This position is full time and based on-campus with some flexibility for hybrid working.
