Product Owner - Windows and Azure Services


The team/department:

What you will be doing:

  • The Product Owner will be responsible for the change and run of Microsoft Windows and Azure Services, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Intune, Autopilot, Windows 365, and Azure Landing Zone.
  • Working with high profile programs of work to introduce new services and oversight of the product roadmap and debt for the platforms and systems.
  • Delivering change and operational services for across all FCA users
  • Estimating resource, cost and time requirements to make changes to relevant products, feeding into project estimates and shaping prioritization for the relevant products across the portfolio in collaboration with key stakeholders within the product group and broader organisation.
  • Management of the Products budget, and recharging of actual work completed to sponsoring divisions and projects
  • Setting and tracking performance against Key Performance Indicators.
  • Ensuring the Product team's compliance with relevant governance requirements
  • Supporting operations out of hours as part of an oncall rota as required

The skills and experience you will have:

Minimum:

_or example, 'Experience of employment law' is measurable for looking at someone's CV but 'Knowledge of HR practices' is not._- Significant experience in leading teams and 3rd parties in the delivery of a complex product or range of products, across the spectrum of IT change and run capabilities with a particular focus on the Microsoft Windows infrastructure environments based on Azure Landing Zone services and technologies.- Significant experience in running Windows environments for End User Services.

- Significant experience in estimating resource, cost and time requirements to deliver change and run activities across a suite of products


Essential:

  • Significant experience in capacity, availability, and release
  • Significant experience in planning to deliver change
  • Technical knowledge and exposure to relevant technical architectures, environments, platforms, and business practices
  • Effective influencing and negotiating at director level, communicating explicit and implicit tradeoffs that impact the enterprise.
  • Credible leader, able to adapt style to build strong relationships with senior leaders, collaborating across the organisation and use various techniques to facilitate innovation
  • Problem Solving, can recommend and make final decisions in relation to actions required to restore functionality and use
  • Commercially aware, the ability to understand supplier proposals and promote cost effective solutions
  • Experience of endtoend life cycle management of IT services
  • Understanding and experience in Service Design and Service Transition
  • Understanding the need for IT Service continuity and ensuring services are able to meet the needs of the business in the event of a disaster
  • Knowledge of and exposure to agile practices
  • Experience in managing IT security driven change
  • Able to generate enthusiasm for and drive innovation internally and externally in relevant product groups' software / platforms /systems, providing cutting edge, industry relevant thought leadership for the product
  • Strategic and pragmatic thinker, focused on outcomes and the bigger picture with the confidence to engage constructively to challenge established approaches.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of and exposure to agile practices
  • Excellent negotiator and influencer, able to work with FCA business teams and Technology teams to deliver consistent services
  • Good knowledge of the relevant products, technology and service offering and future roadmap
  • Coaching skills, able to coach peers and teams of specialists in Product management methodologies.

  • The salary range in London is up to £111,200 per annum plus a competitive benefits package, including a non-contributory pension
  • The salary range in Edinburgh & Leeds is up to £99,700 per annum plus a competitive benefits package, including a non-contributory pension
