up to £50,000 per annum + bonuses

This company based in Kent, who are a leading producer within the food industry. Are now seeking a
Technical Manager to join the team

As a
Technical Manager your role will be varied, as you will be interacting at many levels of the company and work closely with production, NPD, Laboratory, and marketing.

Your responsibilities will also include responding to and co-coordinatingcustomer queries and requests, auditing, and managing the development and implementation of the food safety quality management system.

Your main responsibilities as a
Technical Manager, will be but not limited to

Supporting the Head of Technical.
Manage internal audits (BRC and customer compliance)
Management of supplier and ingredient approvals and TACCP.
Hygiene/maintenance inspections.
Participation in product assessments.
Trending routine microbiology test results.
Responding to customer queries including customer SAQs.
Management of customer complaints, including investigations and responses.
Regular liaison with production managers and assistance with technical/quality issues.
Assistance with NPD process e.g. nutrition calculation, artwork assessment.
