An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative individual to work as a Primary Care Practice Educator within the Community Treatment and Care Service (CTAC) in South Ayrshire HSCP.


This new role is primarily about ensuring registered nurses and HCSW are equipped to make positive impacts on the experiences and outcomes of patients and those who access health and care services in each HSCP.


As part of an integrated nursing team this will involve creating a practice learning environment which provides support, educational input and development activities and evaluation of standards of education and practice for the current and future primary care workforce.


You will provide both face to face and indirect clinical support for the CTAC workforce and be able to provide backfill as required to maintain clinical skills and enhance their understanding of complexities across their HSCP area.


Applications are invited from experienced primary and community care, and general practice nurses who have an interest in learning and staff development within community treatment and care service and wider integrated nursing team.

This is a fixed term/secondment opportunity until July 2024.

Full driving licence and car owner is essential as you will be required to travel across sites on occasion.


Hours: 37.5 per week (over 5 days).
