Would you like the opportunity to work for a leading pharmaceutical organisation in the Cambridge area?


My client is an established and successful analytical organisation, providing contract analytical services and chemistry consultancy to a range of Pharmaceutical clients.

Due to continued expansion, they are looking to hire a Formulation and Manufacturinglead to be responsible for completion of highly technical or specialised projects.

You'll work closely with the Quality Group, Lab Managers, Project Managers and clients to provide detailed project status updates.

As a Formulation and Manufacturing Lead you will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical input to the design and execution of projects to meet the requirements of clients
  • Providing technical leadership for routine, nonroutine and problemsolving tasks in accordance with principles of GMP.
  • Acting as a primary point of contact to report project progress, requirements, and technical details for assigned clients
  • Providing line management, coaching, mentoring, and training opportunities for all directly reporting staff members.
  • Authoring and/or critically reviewing project reports and accurate interpretation of data
To be considered for the Formulation and Manufacturing Lead role you will need the following skills and experience:

  • Proven hands-on experience in pharmaceutical development. Development of orally inhaled or nasal drug products, ideally both small molecules and large molecules is highly advantageous
  • Clear understanding of the regulatory framework required for the development of pharmaceutical products, working knowledge of relevant guidance documentation from UK, EU and US agencies
  • Experience of working closely with both internal and external stakeholders on drug product and combination drug product development programmes, ideally in a CDMO environment
  • Analytical chemistry knowledge is advantageous
