Co. Antrim - Ballymena

With over 45 years expertise in their field, I am delighted to be working with a leader in their field who due to continued success are seeking for a Buyer to join their successful team on a permanent full-time basis.


Duties

  • Communicate with other departments to create specification to ensure goods & services procured best meet business needs.
  • Purchase goods in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets.
  • Negotiate contracts
  • Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments
  • Maintain and manage supplier relationships.
  • Minimise stock holding and ensure timely controlled delivery of goods
  • Provide analysis / reports on costs, new and existing suppliers.
  • Manage customs paperwork.
  • Other adhoc duties

About you

  • Previous procurement experience and strong ability in supplier management.
  • Proficient with MS Office programmes.
