MMP Consultancy are currently seeking a Project Surveyor / Clerk of Works for an interim contract with a Public Sector organisation in Hertfordshire.

Paying £240 per day (Inside IR35).

Temp to perm opportunity, this role will be working within the Investment team on the 'Decent Homes' programme. The role is also Hybrid with working remotely 2/3 days per week with site visits.

Key Duties:

RAMS, starting works on site
Quality Assurance surveys and validation surveys, ensuring weekly and month reporting is completed.
Health and safety assessments of on site work, pre, during and post.
A progress report setting out details of any delays.
Liaising with all internal and external stakeholders including contractors, consultants, tenants, internal staff.
Handling complaints and tenant queries in relation to projects being worked on.
Provide technical support to the Project manager by taking a lead role on the project management of specific programmes in accordance with time, cost and quality parameters set.
Manage day to day contractor performance against agreed delivery programmes. Attend and lead where required relevant meeting, presenting progress report.
Attend operational site meetings with contractors and provide up to date programme information.
Agree additional work onsite to required specifications, using schedule of rates with contractors.
Operate in accordance with Council processes and procedures, CDM 2015 regulations, health and safety at work asbestos awareness and lone working.
