Counselling Team Leader Vacancy
35 hours per week at office working, pattern to be negotiated depending on organisational requirements. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday working essential.
We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced counsellor to join our team.
The post holder will work collaboratively with the Clinical Manager to co-ordinate the delivery of our counselling services.
As part of this role, the post holder will lead on the day to day coordination of our specialist domestic abuse therapeutic service contract.
They will have a caseload of clients that have multiple and complex needs and will have line management responsibility for a small team of staff and volunteer counsellors.
This post offers a great opportunity for someone looking to enhance their clinical knowledge in a thriving service.- Working collaboratively to coordinate delivery of WWC counselling services, including NHS Talking Therapies, for anxiety and depression (IAPT).
- Shared line management duties of staff NHS Talking Therapies, for anxiety and depression (IAPT) counsellors, associates and counselling volunteers; undertaking regular individual performance reviews and case management.
- Working closely with other members of the WWC team ensuring appropriate stepped care and integrated service approach.
- Shared responsibility for monitoring appropriateness of referrals into the services
- Safeguarding Lead duties
- Primarily working from the centre and may include some outreach in person
