Summary of Internship
Internship positions provide an opportunity for business, science or marketing students to get hands on experience in a marketing environment

Key activities

Activities include (but are not limited to):

Deployment, tracking and budget management of the regional sales activation campaign for cancer
Deployment and ongoing running of the annual Biosciences sales lotto
Running the weekly Biosciences Division sales training session
Managing pricing including monthly new product pricing and ad hoc pricing enquiries
Managing Biosciences sample requests
Running the weekly Biosciences Marketing team calls
General marketing support for broad Biosciences marketing initiatives as required. For example management of printed brochure stock, editing cross business marketing collateral, collation of presentation decks, building of SharePoint sites, supporting budget management etc
Working with the EMEA Biosciences Marketing lead and the EMEA Biosciences Cross Business lead on projects to support the team
Working with regional market development managers to ensure portfolios across BID are optimally represented in sales activation campaigns, pricing is implemented for all products, slots are booked on the weekly sales training session and samples are ordered for customers
Working with Marketing Project Manager (MPM) and MarCom partners to define and deploy the tactics and sales tools needed to support sales activation campaigns
Working with Marketing Analytics to understand ROI and revenue generation for specific marketing activities
Regular interaction with BID EMEA Commercial team to ensure our sales activation campaigns and training are optimised

Skills and background:

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree
0+ years of experience preferred
Be available for a 12 month internship
Excellent communication skills
Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
Ability to prioritise, be flexible and work on multiple projects
Ability to learn on the job and take own initiative to drive projects and tasks forward
