Group company, is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Ornithologist to help support our growing workload, contributing to our considerable growth ambitions within the Renewable Energy space.
You will manage onshore and offshore renewables ornithology projects in Scotland and the wider UK, design and schedule ornithology surveys in accordance with NatureScot guidelines for onshore wind, write and review technical ornithology reports, and undertake Ecological Impact Assessment, Habitats Regulation Appraisal and Collision Risk Modelling.
You'll engage with and provide expert advice to project managers, stakeholders and clients, as well as line manage and mentor junior team members.
This is primarily a desk-based role, preferably based from our Glasgow or Edinburgh offices, however we can consider hybrid working arrangements from all
ERM group offices UK wide.

You will have an undergraduate degree in ecology/zoology or a related field (or equivalent experience and knowledge), as well as working experience in a similar role within a consent-based consultancy.
