24 hours per week-4 days (term time only plus 2 non student days).

We are looking for an HLTA with a specialism in
_Forest School_ or behaviour management to join our successful and vibrant SEND department.

The department is committed to supporting a wide range of needs to enable students to achieve and be successful at school.

We are now looking to recruit an HLTA to develop and implement outdoor learning for SEN students in order to support a variety of needs including SEMH, C&I, and medical.


The main responsibilities for the job will include:

  • Planning, preparing and delivering outdoor learning to small groups of students.
  • Selection and preparation of teaching resources that meet the range of the pupils' needs
and interests.

  • Liaising with class teachers as appropriate.
  • Liaising with parents and other agencies as appropriate.
  • Delivering interventions to support behaviour management.

Other duties will include:

  • Providing specialised and individualised support to students with SEND within mainstream
lessons and within the SEN department.

  • Contributing towards meeting the SEN statutory requirements for our students
