Human Resources Business Partner - Up to £40K DOE - Hybrid

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a talented Regional People Business Partner to join our People Team. As a Regional People Business Partner, you will provide effective and evidence-based HR solutions, support, and advice to the organisationto enable the business to deliver its people strategy and address its people challenges. This is a hybrid role, based across West Yorkshire, where you will be required to work two days per week in one of our local offices, of your choice. Locations includeBradford and Leeds.
Some of the main duties for the role include:

  • Work as an integral part of the HR and Learning and Development management team, contributing to the overall People strategy and attending regular team meetings to discuss progress against our People strategy and business objectives.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with Service Leaders and Directors in order to understand the Services and have a collaborative and pro-active approach to solving people issues.
  • Lead complex and transformational People projects to deliver effective business outcomes.
  • Support the Head of People and Director of People deliver the People strategy by breaking down organisational level People projects into implementation plans at Service level.
  • Work with Services to define future capability requirements to meet business objectives.
  • Support and coach managers to provide engaging leadership and drive high performance.
  • Lead and contribute to internal process and policy reviews and projects.
  • Support in large and often complex TUPE Transfers to ensure the successful movement of people to and from the organisation.
  • Initiate innovative forms of People service delivery and identify improvement opportunities to maintain and develop the People service provision.
  • Work as part of the local management team and participate in Humankind's Leadership Forum, working groups and corporate activities.
  • Provide reports and briefings as required, including reports to Regional Directors and/ or the Senior Management Team at operational and strategic meetings.
  • Use the People dashboard to highlight any areas of concern to Service Leaders and Directors and support them with effective People activities and solutions to address these.
  • Manage, mentor, coach and ensure the development of staff reporting to you, including volunteers. This includes involvement in delivering appropriate training, recruitment, induction, monitoring performance, managing absence and carrying our performanceand development reviews.
  • Undertake continuing professional development including participating in performance and development reviews and attending training as/when required.
  • Work in accordance with all relevant legislation, policies & procedures and guidelines - both internal and external. This includes Humankind's clinical governance framework.
  • Keep abreast of policy and professional development within your area of professional expertise.
