Trainee Print Finishing Operator

Gemini Print Southern Ltd is looking for a trainee Machine Operator to finish printed items to a high quality using the company's various finishing machines and maintain a safe working environment.

With our Head Office based in Shoreham, West Sussex, Gemini Print has been providing outstanding print solutions and customer care throughout the South of England for over 40 years.

We are widely regarded as one of the leading eco friendly printers in the UK with other offices in Bristol and London.

Key responsibilities:

Guillotine cutting operator

Folding machine operator

Stitching + 3 & 5 knife trim machine operator

Learning all other print finishing processes

Perform operator maintenance of finishing equipment

Help maintain a high level of safety, cleanliness and organisation around the workplace

Comply with all company and HSE Health and Safety rules

To abide by and support the company's ISO 14001 environmental certificate

Other relevant information:

This activity requires handling large quantities of paper

Hours:

MUST be prepared to work a rotating early & late shift patterns (37.5 hours per week)

Or

Continental day or night shifts (36 hours per week)
