NxGen Recruit are currently recruiting for a Housing Environmental Health and Technical Officer in Brighton on a 6 month contract.

This role will be part of the Private Sector Housing Team and will be responsible for:

Carry out investigations into Requests for Assistance from Private Sector tenants who's landlord are not carrying out any necessary repairs
To carry out inspections of HMOs for both the National Mandatory and Additional HMO Licensing Schemes
To carry out revists to check compliance with HMO licence conditions

You will also have an understanding of building design / layout, fire safety, drainage, health & safety issues, pest control, codes of practice, etc.
