A highly successful social research agency, who specialise in social, evaluation and international research are now seeking a competent Senior Research Executive to join their team.

Their contributions have been extremely influential across the social and public space asthey tackle challenging problems, helping to evaluate sensitive research topics using a fantastic hybridity of quantitative and qualitative techniques.
Their work spans more than 115 countries and includes transnational partnerships with Africa, the Middle East and Europe.

They have investigated crime prevention, developed public health initiatives and organised support services for vulnerable populationsand have a great reputation for uncovering key findings.

As Senior Research Executive you will help to strengthen their offerings in the field, either from within the Africa or Middle Eastern team, and benefit from international travel opportunities and a strong bonus structure.


KEY DUTIES

  • As Senior Research Executive, you will be expected to work across the full research cycle, designing key research instruments while taking a more senior role in supporting junior members of the team.
  • Take an active role in understanding client objectives to their fullest extent and translating this understanding into research
  • Clearly and concisely disseminate research findings via reports and presentations, accurately communicating client expectations
  • Gather costs for projects using costing template and be aware of what is an appropriate rate to charge for our services in each region

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:


  • Possess an excellent ability to design quantitative research instruments with an adept understanding of qualitative functions
  • Experience within the social/public research sector with a keen interest in international research
  • You are able to demonstrate creative problemsolving skills, knowing when to escalate issues to senior staff with little monitoring from senior members
  • Have fantastic communication skills and a demonstrable ability to present in an engaging and professional manner
