Are you interested in supporting and developing teams within Community Health and Social Care services in Havering?

The Transformational Facilitator post is an exciting post incorporating leadership and workforce development within Havering.

The post holder will work with the Transformational lead supporting community nursing staff across Havering with their practice competencies. Facilitating and educating in practice is a key element of this role.


The post holder will be responsible for providing specialist advice and support, supervision and training to the teams to ensure the smooth delivery of high quality care.

He/she will support and improve the learning in clinical practice for new to the role RN's, band 3 & 4 apprentices, Integrated care assistants and newly qualified DN's to the Community Health and Social Care Service (CHSCS) teams across Barking & Dagenham, providing robust clinical support through competency based supervision.

Probationary Period

Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust.

All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment.

As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes.

The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

High Cost Area Supplement - London

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £3,899 and a maximum payment of £4,968 per annum).

The successful applicant must be flexible, car driver, a good team worker, used to working under pressure, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with patients, carers and other members of the MDT.
