Contract to start on until with a possible extension.

Providing a holistic package of support and interventions to tenants and leaseholders at risk of financial exclusion.

Working on a casework basis, offer specialist support and advice on all aspect of income maximization, welfare benefits and financial (and digital) capability.

Housing Benefit (HB)/Council Tax Rebate (CTR), Department of Work and Pension (DWP) and relevant others to minimize overpayments, maximize benefit entitlements and access additional payments such as Discretionary Housing Payments (DHP) or social fund.


Skills:

Experience of income generation

Knowledge Of A Wide Range Of Benefits Including Dla, Income Support, Severe Disablement Allowance & Incapacity Benefit

Knowledge of Welfare Benefits Legislation

Significant Experience Gained Within A Relevant Benefits Advisor Role

Working Knowledge Of Other Welfare Benefits And Pension And Tax Credits
