Magisters Education have recently partnered with a primary school in Newham. They are looking to appoint a Nursery Teaching Assistant to work on a full time basis and start asap


About the role

  • The Nursery Teaching Assistant role will be part time from 12.00pm15.45pm.
  • Opportunity for the role to become full time once the child has received EHCP.
  • You will be working alongside other staff members and providing 1:1 support to a young child.
  • Support with incorporating a routine for the child, introducing intervention activities where needed.
  • Your main focus will be working with the child to help with her learning development, so ideally you will need to have some background in supporting pupils within this field.

Job requirements

  • Experience supporting children with learning delaydesirable.
  • Previous childcentred experience with the early years age range.
  • Understand how to work with pupils and build positive relationships with various pupils quickly and efficiently
  • Love of education and the desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others
  • Confident, proactive and enthusiastic person
  • Good behaviour management skills
