ACCOUNTABILITIES

Carry out full EU CSRD analysis including gap analysis and assessment for Environmental and Social ESRS adherence as it pertains to BAT's supply chain with increased focus on our Environmental & Own Operations disclosures (~ disclosures), including qualitative disclosures as well
Accountability of disclosure for each material topic as required by EU CSRD regulation, including Cap Ex and OPEX understanding across environment and entirety of own operations
Embed the data collection and calculation of the above information in BAU wherever possible and create a Gap analysis on anything else required as data collection or new activities / regulations
SME ownership for the material ESRS topics related to the Environmental Supply Chain & Own Operations and, where appropriate, carry out operational modelling & scenario analysis required as part of Impact, Risk & Opportunities
Carry out additional regulatory readiness as they become available SEC environmental & social impact modelling and disclosure where required
Act as Sustainability Environmental SME cross functionally impacted by sustainability requirements

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

ESSENTIAL

Experience Required

Experience in operations roles, social governance and operational reporting and regulation
Interest in sustainability and end to end supply chain as well as policy and regulation. Understanding of operations is beneficial.
Strong experience working across functions to coordinate activities and develop a coherent approach that can be leveraged by multiple stakeholders
Ability to analyse detailed documentation, identify key issues and produce effective summaries
Working at above market/global level
Understanding and driving BAT's ESG priorities

Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

Passion for our sustainability agenda and A Better Tomorrow
Ability to influence and drive stakeholders & ESG priority workstreams
Effective communication and presentation skills within international environment
Resilient, flexible, and confident to work in a fastpaced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment
Strong written English

Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

Graduate degree

BENEFICIAL

Chartered Public Accountant with operational experience
Understanding of BAT's ESG priorities.
Understanding of the regulatory framework for sustainable reporting and regulation
