Up to £95,000 (depending on experience) plus bonus

This is a 12-month fixed term contract.

You will have the ability to work from home and manage your own time, but some travel will be required, our key office locations are Whiteley, Nottingham and Guernsey as well as occasional travel outside of the UK.


The team's purpose is to evolve and grow the Contact Lens (CL) category; setting and delivering the strategic direction, the annual plans, as well as the day to day operation and profitability ensuring we meet the needs of our customers, partners, and the Specsavers Group.


This role will provide effective and visible leadership of the CL Team and its ambitions and plans for our CL customers experiences of our offers and propositions.

The role holder will ensure that the CL proposition remains market leading, evolving and improving to meet changing customer & partnership needs.

Leading the internal and cross functional teams, groups and forums the roles will set the category ambitions for customer acquisition, management and retention utilising the full organisational strengths across trading, product, marketing and retail operations.

The role holder will also be the primary contact for external vendors and suppliers working with them to enhance our customer insight and leveraging their skills and resources to enhance the Specsavers offering.


The role holder will have the ability to evaluate data and insights to form detailed understanding of customers needs and wants.

You'll will be proficient in creating customer propositions, ranges and engagement plans.

You'll be skilled in communicating and inspiring action and behaviours in others that deliver the strategy and relish working in a matrix organisation, demonstrating ability to build relationships and collaborate to achieve plans.
