BDS Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a well known crime reduction charity who are looking for an experienced Support Worker.
Experience of working with and supporting vulnerable adults with complex needs (such as substance misuse, physical health, mental health, seeking employment and housing support).
The ability to undertake risk assessments in the context of lone working in the community.
Excellent Communication Skills
Good IT skills
Experience of carrying out property inspections and reporting repairs promptly to ensure we provide quality homes for our clients.
Knowledge safeguarding
The role offers flexible working in the community, and you can work from home in between property visits.
We are looking for someone with knowledge of support planning and safeguarding, and experience of working with vulnerable adults with complex needs (i.e. substance misuse and mental health).
This position is initially temporary ongoing but may have a chance of becoming permanent further down the line.
A full driving licence and own transport are essential requirements.
This role is 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Pay rate; starting £11.95ph PAYE
