Description
Are you able to combine strategic thinking, operational experience and change management skills to make a real difference to mental health service provision?

Would you like a leadership role where you can design and implement new ways of working, using your knowledge and skills to make energise and empower staff teams?

If you can answer yes to both of the questions above then we've got a great job opportunity for you.

The Associate Director of Flow and Bed Optimisation will be the lead role responsible for the strategic development and day-to-day management of a bed flow team.

You will be expected to take forward a programme of work to ensure that mental health beds are allocated effectively and people are discharged safety and quickly - ensuring good bed flow.

If you would like to discuss this opportunity, then we'd love to hear from you.

You will be expected to ensure that people can access beds locally and minimise the use of beds outside of Surrey.

You will support our work as we build new hospitals - and will work alongside other hospital providers - ensuring that the patient experience is of a high quality for every bed that we use.

You will have oversight of a team, and will be directly managing some team members as well as working with a wide range of hospital and community teams to implement new ways of working.

Therefore, you will be a fantastic communicator and able to influence and motivate people.
