The role:

We need reliable Senior Auditor to take care of the following duties:

9:00 17:00
To carry out assignments as directed by the Audit Manager into complex, high risk areas e.g. corporate initiatives, governance, major projects, and report thereon.
To assist the Group Auditor in coordinating the work of the Group.
To direct Auditors and Audit Assistant on assignments in liaison with the Group Auditor and the Audit Manager.
To assist the Audit Manager and Group Auditor in promoting a high quality service delivery and contribute to the development of new and innovative working techniques and practices.
To assist the Audit Manager in promoting corporate risk management, helping to ensure that it becomes embedded into the culture of the organisation.
To carry out effective audit assignments of various council activities and report thereon.
To carry out special investigations into particular aspects of council work as directed, and report thereon.
To undertake Value for Money reviews into specific aspects of the council work from time to time as directed.
To comply with internal systems and procedures.
