Role - Senior Sustainability Engineer

Salary - £40,000 - £70,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Type - Permanent

  • Milton Keynes**My client are an multidisciplined building services design consultancy and are looking to take on an Senior to Associate level Sustainability Engineer to join their growing company in Milton Keynes.

The Senior Sustainability Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Member of an relevant professional institute
  • Excellent knowledge and proficiency working with AutoCAD
  • Experience in using Dynamic Thermal Modelling Software
  • A keen interest in how Building services and sustainability work
  • Ability to work and support the team when needed and coordinate with others

The Senior Sustainability Engineer role will involve:

  • Producing planning reports, presentations & heating, and cooling load calculations
  • Understanding & working with UK legislations, British standards, and codes of practice
  • Understand thermal comfort & overheating modelling (BREEAM, TM52 & TM59)
  • Complying with MBA internal quality assurance procedures
  • Attending/organising meetings with Architects, Developers & the wider design team
  • Assisting with/representing the company at meetings and site visits
