- you will both drive and support various projects, all seeking at enabling a performance-driven organization through the utilization of data and implementation of new systems and workstreams across the Western European Area.

As this position is based in the D&A Centre of Excellence, you should expect exposure across multiple markets, functions, and management levels.

We are looking for a colleague who is strong within translation of business language into BI solutions, and who can cover the followng tasks:
Business analyst mindset

Data Preparation: Collect, clean, and preprocess large volumes of structured and unstructured data from various sources, ensuring data quality and consistency.

Model Development: Collaborate with data scientists to design, develop, and implement machine learning models and algorithms to extract insights and predictions from data.
-
Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of data science solutions to ensure accuracy, reliability, and robustness, iterating as needed based on feedback and evaluation results.

Documentation: Document code, algorithms, and methodologies, as well as system architecture and design decisions, to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.

Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and software development technologies and methodologies, continuously improving your skills and expertise.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

ESSENTIAL

Experience Required

Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Solid understanding of software development best practices, including version control (e.g., Git), testing, debugging, and agile methodologies.
Managing and engaging with external support teams.
Familiarity with data manipulation and analysis libraries and frameworks based on the Azure Services platform

Technical / Functional Skills Required

Understanding of database systems and proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data stored in relational databases.
Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts and findings to nontechnical stakeholders, as well as collaborate with crossfunctional teams including data scientists, engineers, and business analysts.
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities to identify and address challenges encountered during the data science lifecycle, from data collection to model deployment and monitoring
Willingness to stay updated with the latest developments and trends in data science, machine learning, and related technologies through selflearning, training programs, or participation in conferences and workshops

Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

You finished your master's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Engineering, or similar in 2023, 2022 or 202
Excellent analytics and problemsolving skills.
Proficient in Excel.
Excellent story telling skills.
Experience with Python, SQL, Power Platform, Fabric, Snowflake, and/ or Azure is an advantage but not a requirement.

BENEFICIAL

Basic understanding of database modeling is considered an advantage.
Experience with Power BI is a strong advantage.
