Description

Responsibilities:

  • Sort and deliver mail to assigned routes
  • Collect outgoing mail and packages for delivery
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of mail to recipients
  • Maintain a high level of customer service when interacting with customers on the route
  • Handle any customer inquiries or concerns regarding mail delivery
  • Follow all safety guidelines and traffic regulations while operating a vehicle

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is desireable but not essential
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy packages and bags of mail
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 3 months


Salary:
From £13.37 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Edinburgh: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

In person
