Description

We are seeking two part-time Switchboard Operators to join our friendly, professional and very busy service based at South Tyneside District Hospital, South Shields.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a team of Switchboard Operators who provide a high quality switchboard service on behalf of South Tyneside & Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust.

This is an essential service used both during office hours and out of hours by service users, all levels of NHS staff, NHS Partnerships and outside agencies such as the Police, Ambulance service etc.

and operates 24/7, 365 days a year.


This is a busy and critical environment and we are seeking Switchboard Operators who have the ability to use their own initiative and work as team players.

Once training has been fully completed you will be able to operate as a lone worker and must be able to remain calm under pressure.
