Avanti Recruitment is currently working with a global financial trading company who are currently looking to hire multiple Java Developers due to growth within the company.

The office is in South London with good transport links. This role will require youin the office once per month.
On a day-to-day basis, you will find yourself working across the full software development life cycle including design/architecture. You will be involved in working on Greenfield projects as well as system enhancements, maintenance and integration. You willtake ownership of individual elements of development and will be involved with code reviews.
The company is keen on helping develop their team's skillsets and is happy to help with accreditations/certifications.

The company is keeping up with the latest technologies and is always looking to implement new tech as it progresses.

They are also workingwith the latest AWS tech including Lambdas, Aurora, Cognito, EC2 etc.


You will be working closely with the product development team as well as the trading colleagues and other developers on a daily basis to ensure you are delivering excellent service to the company's clients.


Some of the skills needed:

  • Strong Java experience
  • Understanding of TDD / Creating Unit Tests
  • Experience with HTML/CSS
  • Understanding and usage of CI/CD such as Jenkins

Desirable:

  • AWS (Aurora/Lambdas)
  • Docker/Kubernetes


The salary on off for this role is up to £80,000 + Bonus + 27 days holiday (Plus bank holiday).
