Description
Our client are a leading London Trading and clearing house, currently going through an exciting technology transformation.

Joining as a solutions architect you will be responsible for designing the end to end network infrastructure for hosting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design on premise and cloud hosting solutions in line with the architecture principles, strategies and standards.
  • Lead delivery of network infrastructure designs on projects as a key component of the overall solution.
  • Produce high level design documentation articulating the infrastructure hosting solution in a clear and concise manner such that it can be consumed by all relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure that the solutions meet the agreed functional and nonfunctional requirements.
  • Ensure all designs exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment.
  • Provide support to the Build teams during implementation of designs.
Key Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrable Experience migrating from legacy on premises environment to cloud solution
  • Experience within Exchange, FS or other highly regulated environment
  • Experience of network infrastructure design onprem and cloud
  • Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure (Storage, databases, Sever platforms, middleware, cloud technologies) and system integration
  • Knowledge with at least one programming language (preferably Python)
  • Knowledge on any IaC and configurations Management tools (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Exposure to CI/CD technologies desirable
  • Ability to communicate with SME's and senior stakeholders and articulate the technical to the nontechnical
