Sulzer UK are looking for a Purchasing Administrator to join and strengthen the team at Alba Power in Scotland.
Alba Power is an independent global leader for overhauling ex-Rolls Royce Aeroderivative Gas Turbines.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Purchasing Administrator to support the Supply Chain Manager for the day-to-day planning, executing, and finalising purchasing and procurement activities for Alba Power.
We are a close knit and family orientated team that thrives on working in a fast-paced, hand-on and dynamic environment.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Responsibility for the administrative duties associated with the procurement of goods and services
- Receive Purchase Order requests and raise Purchase Orders
- Develop close working relationship with all internal departments to ensure efficient and timely processing of purchase order requests for the continuous supply of goods and support the project timescales
- Advising on status of live purchases and as requested
ETAs / Reports / Quotes, etc)
- Participate in onsite stock checks
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Relevant experience within related industry in procurement role
- Workshop consumable products and services, gas turbines and related equipment consumable parts and components.
- Experience of supplier management and negotiation of agreements
- Organisation skills
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to act independently
- Good written and verbal communication
- Communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong IT Skills in Microsoft Office and Excel

Location:
We are a well-established and progressive workshop based in Netherley, Aberdeenshire.
You will be joining a team of 70 experienced and knowledgeable engineers, inspecting, repairing, and overhauling a variety of gas turbine and power turbine models from our purpose-built facilities.
No visa or work permit support can be provided for this role.
